Sony Automatic Belt-Drive Turntable Review:

There were more than two hundred fifty reviewers for this USB turntable, and the average rating was a high 4.0 stars. Close to half of the reviewers gave it a perfect 5.0-star rating; however, more than one quarter of the reviewers gave it 3.0 stars or less.

Those who loved this USB turntable commended it for having a very good quality of sound. They also liked how easy it was to set up and use. It was also confirmed to be very well made, resulting in the reviewers being happy to recommend this product to people who loved to play their old records. One reviewer confirmed that, of course, it was not fair to expect this turntable to do fancy deejaying tricks, as it was obviously not comparable with expensive turntables. But for the price, it was found to be enough for playing records. The reviewers also confirmed that operation was very simple, requiring simply to have the record onto the platter and putting down the dust cover and pressing start. Its coming with a built-in preamp also made it very easy to use with a personal computer, and at least one reviewer commended the unit for performing flawlessly in making digital copies of his records.

Meanwhile, a few reviewers made a similar complaint, described by one as having the tone arm stop as soon as it hits the vinyl, as though it was stuck on something. It was unclear, though, what caused the issue, so it might have been that they received defective units.

With more of the reviewers having been greatly satisfied with this USB turntable, though, we would be very happy to recommend it for your purchase.

Crosley Mini Turntable Review:

There were close to two hundred customers who wrote reviews for this USB turntable, and their opinions resulted in an average rating of 4.1 stars. Close to 50% of the reviewers were greatly satisfied and gave it a perfect 5.0-star rating.

Among the positive comments for this turntable was that it was indeed very well-built and had a good sound output. Several reviewers also appreciated its stylish looks. In addition, they also greatly appreciated its compact size, making it the perfect fit in small spaces, such as the tiny apartment that some of the buyers lived in. It also made the turntable seem like a great starter kit, as it was not too bulky or complicated for first-timers. One of the reviewers went so far as to say that this model, the CR-40, seemed to be the best among all the portable turntables under the Crosley brand. He confirmed that it did pretty much what the bigger units were able to do, while still boasting of a more compact size and better styling. He added that it also had the advantage of front-facing speakers, as many other Crosley portables had side-facing speakers, which he felt wasted space. Another reviewer made a video review, concluding that this was a greatly priced, great quality item best for the average record player. Of course it was not fair to compare it with audiophile equipment that cost several folds over, but it was found to be good enough for giving a great listening experience for its users.

So far, there were only few issues with this USB turntable. One of them was that it did not come with pitch control and also did not have a flippable 78 needle. The reviewer who pointed this out believed that it could not be good to have the same stylus alternating among the different RPMs of records. Another reviewer who liked the compact unit and how easy it was to store commented just to be sure not to break the stylus, as her little sister apparently already broke it.

With these many satisfied customers, we would be very happy to recommend the Crosley Mini Turntable for your record-playing needs.

Pyle-Pro Professional Belt Drive Turntable with USB Interface Review:

There were less than ten customers who gave their feedback on this USB turntable, and they gave it a high average rating of 4.8 stars. Also, despite the small number of reviews, none of them gave it ratings below 4.0 stars, making for a very healthy assessment.

One of the reviewers commended it for being well-constructed, with a good quality needle and good sensitivity on the arm. The internal pre-amp was also appreciated, as it reportedly made a big difference in terms of sound volume. The reviewers also appreciated the included software, with one of them complimenting it for being recognized by his computer straightaway; he also added that the software actually walked him through the entire process of playing and recording his music. He was relieved that for once, simple software was truly found to be simple. Another perk for this turntable was its affordability, especially compared to other models and brands, and it was confirmed to be of good value. Another reviewer who was definitely satisfied with this turntable was impressed with the construction quality, and added that it had exceeded his expectations. Not only did it work well, it also gave a great sound. Other buyers also expressed the same sentiment, being happy that they were now able to play their old records with ease and with a great sound. In fact, one of them commended this device for being effective at transferring vinyl records into an iPod.

So far, there were no negative issues brought up for this turntable. Of course, only a few of the reviewers mentioned their having made use of the recording function of this turntable, so we may not be able to confirm the quality of output; at least, the ease of recording was confirmed, as they were very happy with the simplicity it required to run the software.

Despite the limited comments for this USB turntable, it seems to be a good quality device that will definitely give your old vinyl records a resurrection. If you want to convert them into digital formats and have little know-how, you will likely appreciate the ease of use of the software included with this turntable.

TDK Life on Record USB Belt Drive Turntable Review:

The ten customers who gave their thoughts on this USB turntable gave it an average rating of 3.4 stars. There was only one of them who rated it a perfect 5.0 stars, although a big percentage gave it 4.0- and 3.0-star ratings, too.

One of the reviewers described this USB turntable as a great device for listening to his vinyl records. He shared about how true vinyl fanatics would typically need a turntable on which to play their records, with digital recording capability being a secondary concern. This device was reportedly great at playing records, although in terms of recording, he felt that it was a bit complicated to operate; he felt that there were many other simpler units if the buyer’s intention was solely to convert vinyl records to digital formats. But for those who, like himself, needed only to listen to their records, he confirmed the awesome sound quality of this unit. He felt that it was very effective at having the wonderful qualities of a vinyl record shine through. Another pro for this unit was its coming with a pre-amp and how it came with replaceable needle and cartridge. A few other reviewers commented on how the software was decent and the turntable worked beautifully. In fact, one of them was expecting a cheap device made of plastic, but he was pleasantly surprised at the artistry in this unit.

Meanwhile, some customers complained about the difficulty they had in using the recording software that came with this turntable. One of them answered that it was easy for included software to become outdated, and he recommended using Audacity, a free audio software, instead, especially since that worked good at Mac computers. Another reviewer noted that it required a bit of assembly, which was complicated and required strict adherence to the included directions.

Given the slightly minimal complaints for this USB turntable, we believe you will find this to be a good investment for your money and for your vinyl-record playing needs.

Pyle Belt Drive USB Turntable With Recording Review:

There were more than ten customers who gave their feedback on this USB turntable, with its average rating being at 3.5 stars.

One of the reviewers commended this USB turntable for being very easy to set up and hook up to the computer. She also described it as making her old albums sound great, with the included preamp being considered a great add-on. The reviewers also confirmed that it had a good quality of sound, making it a good value for the price. The reviewers who tried recording with this device appreciated the great output. At least one of them described it as working very well right out of the box.

One of the reviewers who gave this a 3.0-star rating was disappointed as he had thought it was a direct-drive turntable based on what he saw online; he was annoyed to find that it was belt-driven, as he felt that explained the low price. He complained about how it did not work out of the box, and the belt was left dangling; he had difficulty learning how to install the belt, as the manual did not describe the process. Another issue brought up by the reviewers was that the manual was not very helpful, as it was more focused at describing the recording software! Another reviewer complained about the poor quality of the sound reproduction output, as he felt that the needle was very cheap. Yet one more reviewer complained about this being a very complicated device to use, as he had spent two days still trying to figure out how to use it.

From these findings, we believe this to be a great USB turntable for your listening and recording needs.

The Pyle Home Classical Trumpet Horn Turntable with Direct to USB Recording, model number PTCDS3UIP, is a vintage device reminiscent of the real phonographs of the 18th century. This turntable is crafted out of wood for that authentic look, and also comes with a horn speaker, while featuring 21st century technology. In addition to its phonograph capabilities, it comes with a cassette deck, AM/FM radio, a CD player, and even an auxiliary jack for an mp3 player or iPod.

Product Features and Specifications:
•	This USB turntable comes with a wireless remote control for its USB ad CD functions;
•	It comes with an AM/FM radio functionality with stereo, can play CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, and MP3 discs;
•	It features a front-loading drawer for loading a single CD;
•	The turntable features 3 speeds, 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM;
•	The turntable measures 15.5 x 11.8 x 31.5 inches;
•	It comes with an adaptor for 45 RPM.

Pyle Home Classical Trumpet Horn Turntable with Direct to USB Recording Review:

The close to twenty customers who gave their comments on this USB turntable settled on an average rating of 3.4 stars for this device. About a third of the reviewers gave it a perfect 5.0-star rating, while a quarter of them gave it a so-so rating of 3.0-stars.

Those who loved this turntable commended it for having a very good sound quality. One of them liked how the horn was indeed a speaker and not just a decorative addition to the unit. She also appreciated how the horn was made of a light metal, which made it feel expensive without adding too much to the weight of the turntable. Another reviewer commended it for being such a beautiful replica of old phonographs, giving amazing sound and being simple to use. She described how it was relatively easy to setup. Other users also appreciated it for its vintage look, while being a great device for playing old records. It was also described as being very classy.

Unfortunately, none of the reviewers who gave it high ratings reported any finding on the recording capability of this turntable. Other reviewers who were not too happy with it complained about various defects, too, ranging from the CD player’s not functioning right out of the box, to not getting the turntable itself to work even though the reviewer reportedly assembled everything according to instructions. At least another user complained about the wood body having been damaged even if the shipping box was intact. It would seem that this item was very prone to defects, given how many of the reviewers had their disappointing experiences.

In the absence of confirmation of the recording capability of this USB turntable, it would seem only reasonable to recommend it for record-playing and other media-playing functions. However, we need to warn you about the risk of receiving defective units, given the track record for this device. As such, unless you really need an authentic-looking phonograph, you may be better off finding a more reliable product.

Pyle Home USB Classic Turntable with iPod Dock Review:

This USB turntable received comments from close to forty customers, and the average rating was a high 4.0 stars. More than half of them were impressed enough to rate it at a perfect 5.0-stars.

One of the reviewers who were very impressed with this turntable commended it for giving good sound from all media forms. One reviewer described the sound quality as “excellent,” and he was very happy that he now had a way to play his old records. The reviewers also appreciated how easy it was to set up, and how intuitive it was to play. One of them shared how immediately played a record on it, and it worked great. Another buyer was a dad who got this for her daughter who started collecting vinyl; she apparently had not tried the other functions except for the turntable, but she was very happy with it. The device was also commended for being able to record right into a flash drive, as it was found to be a major plus.

Meanwhile, one of the complaints that were brought up for this USB turntable was that the tape player was quite weak, to the point of not being able to play tapes that weren’t relatively new. One reviewer found that the absence of a regulation system for the input level resulted in poor copies of some tapes. Another complaint was the absence of an indicator for when the device was actually starting its recording, resulting in difficulty for getting the first seconds of a given song. Also, one of the buyers who gave it a 4.0-star rating appreciated the sound quality from all the media formats that it supported, but admitted that she was surprised to find no included software for recording. Still, this would be very easy to get around, using free recording software.

From these findings, we would be very happy to recommend this USB turntable for your vinyl record-playing and converting needs.

The Audio-Technica LP-to-Digital Recording System with model number ATLP2DA is a professional stereo turntable featuring a direct-drive motor with high torque. This assures you of quick startups. Meanwhile, a USB output allows you to connect the turntable directly to a computer for ease of recording. It comes with a built-in stereo phono pre-amplifier, which means you can plug the turntable directly onto speakers without needing a dedicated turntable input.

Product Features and Specifications:
•	The turntable allows you to transfer your LP records into digital formats, including MP3, WMA, and WAV files;
•	It comes with Cakewalk Pyro software that allows you to edit out pops, crackles and clicks from your LP records using the DeClicker;
•	It comes with a phono cartridge and adapter cable.

Audio-Technica LP-to-Digital Recording System Review:

There were more than one hundred reviewers for this USB turntable, and the average rating sat at 3.7 stars. Interestingly, the 5.0-star rating received the most number of votes, with another good number of buyers giving it a high 4.0-star rating.

One of the buyers who gave his thoughts on this USB turntable shared that he had initially been worried about how the included software would work. He was pleasantly surprised to find that it worked great, and he was pleased to find that it took him a short time to get his first digital recording of an LP record. Another reviewer was very happy with his purchase, as he found this turntable very easy to set up and easy to connect to his computer; he was very happy to have digital copies of his 30-year-old LPs within half an hour of having set up this device. At least one user wanted to convert his old 45s and LPs to save on his iPod. He described this unit as exactly what he was hoping for, as it was possible for him to save digital copies of his favorite records, including removing unnecessary clicks. He found it to be simple and fun to use, giving amazing results: some of his old 45s were made to sound close to pristine.

One of the reviewers who weren’t too happy with this USB turntable complained about the mic picking up the arm movement. He also ranted about the software being horrible, giving him an overall impression of this unit being a total waste of his hard-earned cash. Meanwhile, other reviewers only mentioned that maybe the software could have used a bit more explicit instructions, as that would definitely have paved the way smoother for less-experienced users. After all, even some of those who rated the turntable high had trouble with the software. Another reviewer who loved it only noted that recording happened in real time, which meant the entire song needed to be played for it to be saved digitally, although of course that was understandable.

From these comments, we believe this would be a great USB turntable to use if you want to save digital copies of your favorite records.

Stanton T55USB USB DJ Turntable Review:

There were only a couple of customers who reviewed this USB turntable, but both of them gave it a perfect 5.0 star rating and went into great detail describing its good points. First off, it was described as being fairly easy to setup. One of the reviewers liked how it came with a pitch adjustment feature, describing how the turntable came with a built-in strobe that kept the speed at an accurate level. He also shared that he was satisfied with the reliability of the turntable, much like the quality he had experienced with Stanton turntables during the time when there was still no USB capability.

The other reviewer, who was a self-professed novice, gave a shorter description, and explained he had bought the turntable based on the trusted brand name. They reportedly had no problems with it, and used it about three to four times a week. It was described as having a beautiful sound and being very easy to use.

Since the turntable had a good turnout for even an amateur user, we would be happy to recommend this to you. After all, a USB turntable is only as good as the purpose you are able to use it for, and the ease of using it means you will likely have a simple time copying your treasured vinyl discs. You will also likely appreciate the mechanism that keeps the speed well-maintained, as well as the included software to make copying and editing a breeze.

The Ion Audio LP2CD USB Turntable is all you need for recording your vinyl records into the more modern CDs. You can use it to copy an entire album, or even mix and match from different albums according to your taste! It works perfectly fine all by itself or you can connect it to a computer, too. It comes with an EZ Vinyl Converter 2 PC software and its alternative for Mac, the EZ Audio Converter, making computer recording absolutely hassle-free. The included software allows you to edit noise, pops, or clicks that are typical from worn-out vinyl discs.

Product Features and Specifications:

The turntable allows copying of an entire album or of tracks from different albums;

It can be used by itself or connected to a computer via its USB interface;

It comes with sound editing software for PCs and Macs;

It can support 33 1/3 and 45 RPM vinyl discs, and even 78 RPM albums can be recorded;

The CD burner is on-board and features one-touch recording, making it an easy task;

It can record on blank CD-R or RW discs;

It comes with a quick-start guide.

Ion Audio LP2CD USB Turntable Review:

The close to thirty customers who have bought this turntable gave it an average rating of 3.8 stars, with majority of them giving it a 4.0 or 5.0 star rating. However, about one-fourth of the reviewers gave it 1.0 and 2.0 star ratings, so it would be best to check what their complaints were.

The features of this turntable that were greatly appreciated include the sound coming from the headphones being nice and full, which was better than most of the users expected. It was also found to be very easy to record directly to a CD, as it made the turntable perfect for those who did not have the know-how or the patience to go through software. One user appreciated how the tracks were automatically separated when recording to CD, while also allowing for manual separation. Other turntables required a very complicated process to separate the tracks, and this was a major plus. One reviewer also appreciated the inclusion of a dustcover. Another user was pleasantly surprised that the turntable had an internal hard drive that could store up to two albums; he liked how it let him correct errors or rearrange tracks before transferring it to a CD. The resulting CD was also found to be of very good quality.

The complaints for this turntable included its being described as unreliable, failing one user, reportedly, “immediately” after he purchased it, showing error messages. Most likely it was a defective unit. Unfortunately his sad experience was compounded by an unsatisfactory return-and-replacement process.

In any case, the turntable sounds like something we would be happy to recommend, as its ease of use is way better than most other brands. Just make sure to check the functionality as soon as you receive it, in order to facilitate an efficient return and replacement.
